BABNA Scholarship Application Are Now Closed.

Bay Area Black Nurses Association (BABNA) is pleased to announce that scholarship applications are NOW CLOSED for the 2023-2024 academic year. BABNA is offering $ 114,500 scholarships to NBNA/BABNA members in 2023!

BABNA scholarships are awarded annually to active members enrolled full-time in accredited LVN/LPN, associate, diploma, baccalaureate, and graduate nursing programs for the next academic year (2023-2024). The scholarship applicants should demonstrate community engagement through volunteer work or community service in the Bay Area and academic and clinical excellence. Applicants must have at least one full year of school remaining.

Applications are now closed. 

Required application materials include:

• Academic letter of recommendation
•  BABNA letter of recommendation
• Official transcripts
• Resume
•  Proof of enrollment in a nursing program
•  Personal statement essay.
